Shûta Aoi is a freshly graduated young man residing in District 24 . He lives in the shopping district and helps his parents run the family bakery: Aoi Bakery .

Her house is right next to that of Mari Sakuragi , one of her childhood friends.

 

Athletic, Shûta trains every day to maintain his physical shape; his room is also set up like a gym. A rather intuitive boy, he is the type to act first and think later.

Growing up , he tended to "play the hero", earning him the nickname " Mr.24 ". He remains very popular in the commercial district where everyone knows him.

 

Shûta is one of the members of the RGB trio , which consists of Ran Akagi (Red), Kōki Suidō (Green) and himself (Blue). The group was created by Asumi , Kōki 's sister , when they were still in elementary school. But, since the accidental death of the latter, the boys hardly see each other anymore, to the great displeasure of Mari . Indeed, they all have great difficulty accepting what happened that night. Shûta , for his part, feels like he hasn't been the "hero" he was meant to be, which led to drama. Moreover, he no longer plays the hero since this incident.

 

A year after Asumi 's death , just after attending the commemoration of the event, Shûta receives a strange phone call that seems to come from the cell phone of the deceased! Perplexed, he picks up and has a vision of two horrible futures: in one, Mari dies after being hit by a train, in the other, the train derails and all the passengers die. A voice prompts him to make a choice: will he sacrifice several lives to save only one or will he let his friend die to save the passengers?

Taken aback , Shûta decides to act in order to save everyone: Mari and the passengers. He is assisted in his enterprise by Ran and Kôki who, too, have received the mysterious call and have been confronted with the different possible futures. Reforming their famous trio, they each act on their own according to their skills, and manage to avoid tragedy.

During the experience, Shûta sees his physical abilities increased tenfold, which allows him, for example, to run faster or jump higher.

 

Once Mari and the passengers are saved, the trio wonders: who is this person who pretended to be Asumi and what is his goal?

Unlike his comrades, Shûta retains the hope that it is really Kōki's sister , but the latter is adamant that Asumi is dead. The group therefore separates, again in the cold.

 

A few days later, while a gastronomic contest is in full swing in the district, the members of the trio are alerted by a new call. Once again, they face a difficult choice: faced with a violent tornado, should they save the strong while abandoning the weak or vice versa?
