Presentation of Enass

National Insurance School - EnassThe National Insurance School (ENASS), Institute of the National Conservatory of Arts and Crafts (CNAM), was established in 1947 with the aim of setting up and proposing training that meets the needs of employees of the insurance sector.

According to the word of his director, François Ewald, ENASSS sets the main objective of "young insurers to become, to experienced professionals and corporate managers" "to go on one level and progress in a sector rich in opportunities ".

The National School of Insurance (ENASS) is therefore a higher education institution specializing in insurance training. Enass delivers, students and participants successfully validating their curriculum through their reviews, securities and diplomas in the European LMD scheme.

The ENASSS is currently led by a director, François Ewald (professor of the CNAM insurance chair, director of ENASS, but also a member of the Academy of Technology, editorialist in the newspaper Les Echos, columnist with stakes Echos, and a member of the National Council for Sustainable Development) and by an Assistant Director, Olivier de Lagarde, whose research focuses on insurance, risk control and regulation.

The ENASSS is driven by a technical commission composed of representatives of the insurance profession (insurance companies, mutuals, brokers, agents general, but also representatives of insurance employees, teachers and students).

Finally, Enass has a pedagogical steering committee for each training it proposes. For example, each training program proposed by ENASS is followed by a steering committee that combines all stakeholders from training (companies, professors, auditors, alumni). Each educational steering committee is chaired by an insurance professional.

The life of the school is punctuated by several associations, which aim to promote activities such as sport, enterprise insertion or solidarity. Thus, Enass, promoting associative life, supports many associations in different ways, such as the corpo (the student office), responsible for organizing the reception of new students, as well as evenings between students, or the Propagandass association,
dedicated to the promotion and development of the National School of Insurance.
