From the start of his career, he can claim remuneration of between 3,200 and 4,000 euros gross per month. This represents a monthly net income of between 2,500 and 3,150 euros per month. The base salary is explained by the fact that he has skills that are in demand. With several years of experience, an experienced ethics officer can earn more than 8,500 euros gross per month. His net salary will then be more than 6,600 euros. The profession of ethics officer can be exercised as an employee in a company. The employee then receives a fixed remuneration each month. The employer can plan to pay the salary over 13 or 14 months. An incentive and participation bonus may also be offered to the employee. The ethics officer will also have the possibility of setting up as an independent. He will then be free to set the amount of his fees himself. In principle, they depend on the reputation of the professional, their field of competence and their expertise. By setting up as a self-employed person, however, the ethics officer renounces the job security guaranteed by the framework of the company and the traditional employment contract.
