What are the conditions for terminating professional auto insurance?
To terminate your pro insurance contract, you must send a termination request, respecting the notice periods indicated above or mentioned in your general conditions.
This document, handwritten or printed, should be sent to the insurer by registered mail with acknowledgment of receipt. This will allow, in the event of disagreement, to prove your good faith by having proof of the dates sent. So keep a copy of your request as well as the notice of receipt of the registered letter.
Once your letter has been sent, you will only have to wait for the effective termination (1 or 2 months later depending on whether the termination occurs at the end of the period or during the contract).
We remind you that if you use a vehicle for professional use - whether it is a business or a liberal professional - you are legally obliged to insure it as such!
