The benefits of relaxation

Relaxation can provide many physical and psychological benefits over time. This is a great way to relax and focus on your peace of mind. Of course, relaxation is very good for your health. Our partner, Novus Health, presents you with these tips and techniques to start relaxing today.

Relaxation, that… relaxes!

While it is recommended that you spend at least 20 to 60 minutes in a relaxation session, it only takes a few minutes to feel the effects. Just taking a moment to sit down calmly can already help you:

relieve stress - so you can face the rigors of everyday life with peace of mind;
to refuel - so you can perform at your best.
Relaxation techniques

Finding the right relaxation technique for you is very important. Change up your routine and try a new one every week. Repeat these exercises several times a day, especially in times of stress.

Deep breathing

Close your eyes and focus on your breathing. Learn to breathe again using your abdomen. Take a deep breath through your nose and fill your stomach with air. Breathe out slowly, letting the air exit your stomach gradually.

Meditation

This technique works a maximum of your senses in harmony. Close your eyes and take a few minutes to focus on an image, sound, or word that brings you peace.

Pick up the stars

Standing, raise your arms as high as possible on either side of your body, taking a deep breath. Then slowly bring them back to your side as you exhale. These movements will know how to appease you.

Clear your mind

For at least three minutes, close your eyes, breathe calmly, stand still, and let go of any negative thoughts.

It takes practice, time and motivation

The more you find YOUR technique, the better you will control your body and mind. You can do any of these exercises as soon as you start to feel stress. You will see, it will quickly give way to zen!
