Practice positive thinking during confinement
Our priority is to support you during this uncertain period. Your well-being and that of your loved ones are important to us; this is why we want you to benefit from some advice as well as that of our partners.
The COVID-19 pandemic affects all of us. We now have to face a new reality, which can bring new challenges in both our personal and professional lives. We are aware that the situation is changing rapidly, which can give rise to many questions: how long will the pandemic last? What will happen afterwards?
Whether you are unemployed, homeworkers, or workers in essential services, many of us experience feelings of uncertainty that can cause negative emotions, such as fear and anxiety.
How to avoid major repercussions caused by stress on my health
In order to have all the chances on your side and to help you overcome this exceptional situation a little more lightly, it is essential to maintain good mental health and foster a positive feeling of well-being. A positive attitude will give you the strength and energy to face challenges more easily while still enjoying life's small pleasures.
In collaboration with our partner Novus Santé, we offer you some tips and tricks to promote positive thinking and thus strengthen resilience and prevent the negative effects of stress and anxiety in the context of COVID-19.
How to adopt a positive attitude in the context of COVID-19?
Respect physical distancing, but favor social solidarity!
Stay informed about COVID-19, but take breaks from social media or the news;
Get involved in your community while respecting the distances from others and help others to feel included;
Engage in healthy activities and encourage those close to you to follow your example;
Open up to people you trust, get help and advice when needed;
Stay active and eat healthy.
Do you work from home in essential services?
Use video conferencing tools for meetings;
Encourage your colleagues to keep in touch regularly;
Consider working flexible working hours so that you can be present for your children, parents and those around you;
Set a schedule for yourself, including breaks and enough time to take care of yourself;
Share reliable and free resources with family and colleagues.
These tips will help you build resilience and feel more in control, while encouraging participation. Know that whatever happens, we continue to support you as we always have. We are going to get through this together and come out stronger than ever!
