Insurance, as any specialized area of activity, has its specificities and its own rules. Therefore, to truly understand how the insurance sector operates, the foundations and principles should be understood.
Initiate the visitor to the fundamentals of the insurance, as well as the economic and legal principles that make it possible to regulate the activity, this is the purpose of this first part, which enters into a general presentation of the assurance.
Insurance First, we will try to give a general definition of the insurance, while introducing the main notions necessary for the understanding of the mode of conduct of an insurance operation. We will also present the main actors engaged in the process of forming a contract.
We will then present the insurance sector as a whole, before taking a point on the division of insurance operations in several branches. We will then talk about the regulation of these same operations, before evoking two particular insurance cases: reinsurance and co-insurance.
