My rights and duties in school

Article 1

I have the right to be respected, to be listened to by others and by adults.

But I have to respect others and their differences: do not laugh, do not insult.

Article 2

I have the right to be safe.

But I must :

to put in line in the calm and in silence.

move calmly through the hallways and stairs.

to move without shoving my comrades.

Article 3

I have the right to be treated when I am injured.

But I do not have to:

play violent games in the yard.

to fight me.

Article 4

I have the right to have a clean school.

But I must :

throw my rubbish in the trash.

respect the cleanliness of the toilets and the work of the cleaning ladies.

My rights and duties in the classroom

Article 5

I have the right to access knowledge and knowledge.

But I must :

be attentive in class.

respect the books and materials entrusted to me.

Article 6

I have the right to work in good conditions.

But I do not have to:

make noise with my material.

disturb my comrades by chatter.

speak without raising your finger.

Article 7

I have the right to make mistakes, to deceive myself.

But I do not have to:

copy on my comrade.

cheat during the correction.

Article 8

I have the right to work at my own pace and to be helped.

But I must :

do my job properly (do not rush my work by working fast and badly).

write my lesson correctly.

do my exercises.

to apply to me (to write well without fault of copy).

Article 9

I have the right to move freely around the classroom.

But I do not have to:

to move me unnecessarily.

embarrass others in their work.

chatting during my travels.

Article 10

I have the right to work in a nice and clean class.

But I must :

pick up my rubbish on the floor.

clean my table.

If I did not respect these duties, then:

Article 1: I apologize. Then I look for 5 reasons why this is not done.

If it's repetitive, the teacher can put a note in my notebook to warn my parents.

Article 2: I will be deprived of part of the next break. The teacher will be able to recover this time "lost" by making us descend less quickly to the next recreation.

At home, I look for 5 reasons that explain the need for this article.

Article 3: I apologize. I fill out a reflection sheet and the one (or the one) with whom I fought. The teacher can ask for an appointment with my parents.

Article 4: I pick up trash from the yard. I clean up in the school what I dirty.

Article 5: If I'm not attentive, it will be noted on my behavior sheet of the week.

If I ruin the books, I repair them and if they are irreparable, my parents will have to pay for those books.

If I break or ruin the material of the class I buy another.

Article 6: If I disturb the class, the teacher will be able to make 3 remarks to me. At the end of the third, I will have a note on the liaison book. In addition it will be noted on my behavior sheet.

If it's repetitive, the teacher can ask for an appointment with the parents.

Article 7: If I copy on a comrade, I punish myself because I do not learn.

Article 8: If I bet my work, it will be noted on my record of behavior. I will have to start my work during part of the break or finish my exercises during that time. If it's not over, I'll have to finish my work at home

Article 9: If I disturb others during my travels, I will lose this right. This will be noted on my behavior sheet. If it's repetitive, the teacher will be able to put a word on my notebook and eventually ask an appointment to my parents.

Article 10: I clean the class.

If I respected these duties, then I rise in rank in my level of behavior and I acquire rights.
