Investing in Water Dispensers in the United States
As seen in several of our articles, there are a multitude of projects for investing in the USA. The concept of water dispensers
This is an innovative vending machine concept. The vending machine dispenses water in bulk. Customers bring their own bottles or containers and fill them. There's no need to refill the machines since the water is filtered and remineralized from tap water. This patented water purification and mineralization process is carried out in seven steps:
Filtration of sediments (large particles)
Carbon filters (chemical contaminants)
Activated carbon (organic contaminants)
Reverse osmosis (metals, bacteria)
Alkaline mineralization (addition of 20 natural minerals and pH balancing)
Ultraviolet purification (complete sterilization)
Polishing (mineral water taste)
These dispensers are located at supermarket exits or gas stations. The selling price is 5 to 10 times lower than bottled water. This concept is environmentally friendly and complies with federal and state-specific standards. The machines have a screen to display instructions as well as advertising.

The water dispenser market in the United States
The American market
It's important to note that tap water now exceeds acceptable contamination levels for 30% of the population in the United States. The use of plastic bottles is an environmental problem. In fact, 25 billion bottles were produced in 2016, and only 23% are recycled.
The purified water market is expected to reach $45 billion by 2022, with average growth exceeding 10% per year. Alkaline water is the fastest-growing consumer product segment in the United States. Vending machine sales currently represent $42 billion.
The competition
In terms of competition, the leading water dispenser is the Glacier brand from the Primo group. Their technology dates back to the 1990s and is outdated. The water is filtered in only four stages; 5 liters of water are required for one liter of filtered water. Furthermore, there is no mineralization, alkalization, or polishing.
The advantage of these new dispensers is that it's possible to monitor sales, water quality, and outages remotely. Customers can pay with cash, card, or their phone.

Obtain an E-2 visa by investing in water dispensers
Investing in water dispensers in the United States can be a gateway to obtaining the E-2 investor visa. However, certain conditions must be met that meet the requirements of the United States immigration services. The investment must be substantial, in assets, and the start of the business must be immediate in order to quickly generate revenue and profitability. The investor must also be from a country that is part of the E-2 visa treaty (France, Belgium, or Switzerland, for example). They must be able to prove the origin of the funds and be in charge of the investing company. Furthermore, including job creation in the business plan (for example, salespeople to sell advertising space that will be broadcast on the dispenser's screen) is a good point.
With over 2,000 machines in operation in 2018, the distributors' business continues to grow. The return on investment is over 15% after the first year of operation.
