What is the difference between funeral insurance and death insurance?

Funeral insurance finances your funeral and possibly provides for its organization according to your last wishes and the contract you have chosen to take out.

Death insurance provides for the payment of a capital or an annuity to one or more designated beneficiaries in the event of the subscriber's death before the end of the contract. The death insurance contract is therefore for a fixed term and its beneficiaries are not obliged to use the paid-in capital to organize the funeral.

If your death contract ends before said death, the sums paid on it are lost! Conversely, with life insurance, regardless of the time of your death, the beneficiary will receive the capital saved.
