Nezuko Kamado ( 竈門 かまど 禰 ね 豆 ず 子 こ Kamado Nezuko ) is Tanjiro Kamado 's younger sister and one of the last remaining members of the Kamado family. Formerly human, she was attacked and turned into a demon by Muzan Kibutsuji . She is one of the main characters in Kimetsu no Yaiba .

Appearance

Nezuko is a young, fair-skinned little girl with visibly large and prominent fangs and pointed pointed fingernails with a pale pink shaded base color fading to a rosy-red color at the end where they point. Her hair is long, black and wavy. They reach just below his waist, taking on a flame orange color as they pass his elbows, and appear to be crimped into large straight ridges, carried laterally drastically to his left. She wears a light pink kimono with an asanoha (hemp leaf) pattern, the paler pink lining, secured by a red and white checkered hanhaba obi with orange netting obijime and green obiage. Over it, she wears a long dark brown haori that reaches her calves, as well as a pair of zōri with pink suspenders and white tabi socks, wrapped in thick pieces of black kyahan-like cloth. Nezuko grew up on a mountain alongside her older brother, Tanjiro, and the rest of her siblings and mother, as the eldest daughter of the Kamado family. She presumably cared for her younger siblings as her mother's helper, as was briefly seen before her family died. Nezuko protecting Tanjiro from Giyu Tomioka

After a demon nearly kills her entire family, Nezuko is turned into a demon by it, Muzan Kibutsuji. At first, she is wild and even attacks her only remaining brother, Tanjiro. However, she regains her senses and quickly jumps in front of him to protect him from Giyu Tomioka when the Pillar tries to hurt him.

 

After this short fight, she falls asleep and Giyu orders Tanjiro to find a man called Sakonji Urokodaki. Her brother first takes her to bury their dead family, then she hides in a cave, seeing that the sun is rising, and waits for her brother to find something to carry her so they can travel during the day.

 

Thus, they head towards Sakonji's house, but encounter a demon, having just killed and eaten a family, on their way. Tanjiro attacks the demon, hitting it in the jaw with his axe, but his wounds heal quickly and he brags about his generative abilities. Enraged, the demon runs towards Tanjiro, but Nezuko chops his head off with one blow, knocking his body to the side as he continues to attack. Tanjiro hesitates to deliver the killing blow, and the sun eventually begins to rise, disintegrating the demon as Nezuko runs into the house for protection.

 

After a brief reprimand and test of their strength, Nezuko and Tanjiro are taken by Sakonji, who thus drags Tanjiro into the Breath of Water.

 

Nezuko then sleeps for the two years that Tanjiro spends training, not even waking up when he leaves for Final Selection. Nezuko accompanies Tanjiro on his first mission, where she steps out of her box to battle one of the Swamp Demon's duplicates . She falls asleep after defeating the demon.

Size Manipulation  : After being transformed into a demon, Nezuko was able to quickly change the size of her body. Tanjiro is Nezuko's older brother and the last living member of his family. So while Nezuko is normally calm and sweet, she becomes enraged and attacks any demon that hurts Tanjiro. Nezuko meets Tengen in the pleasure district. At first, Tengen didn't accept Nezuko for being a demon and wanted to kill her and Tanjiro for breaking army rules. When Nezuko used her Blood Power to burn Gyutaro's poison out of her body, Tengen expressed gratitude towards Nezuko for saving his life with his women also showing signs of gratitude. After the battle against Muzan Kibutsuji, Tengen and his wives visited Nezuko who is human again, and Tanjiro while inviting them to visit them one day. Nezuko expressed her joy when Tengen lifted her onto his shoulder.
