Apply to immigrate to Canada

Here are the steps for a successful immigration and application to Canada:

    Create an account
    Obtain the required forms
    Provide biometrics and police certificate
    Pass a medical examination
    Hire a representative

1. Create an account

First of all, you need to create an account and log in. By doing this, it helps you start an application by paying your application fee, you also receive emails regarding the status of your application.
2. Obtain the required forms

Second, you need to get the forms you need to come to Canada, either to apply for Canadian citizenship or to get a permanent resident card.

The next step is to check the processing time for your request. This lets you know how long it takes IRCC to process your request. Processing times vary from country to country.
3. Provide biometric data and a police certificate

In addition, you must provide your biometric data (fingerprints) after applying. You also need a police certificate to check if you have a criminal record.

The certificate must show the country you are immigrating to that you are of good character and that you are having a clean sweep.

Police certificates differ in each country. They can be called certificates of good conduct, police certificates, etc.
4. Get a medical exam

Finally, you need to pass a medical exam by scheduling an Immigration Medical Exam (IME) with the Panel doctor's office. Initial medical exams can be used, otherwise please wait until IRCC invites you for a medical exam.
5. Hire a representative

Once you have decided to use an Immigration and Citizenship representative, the next step is to choose between a paid representative or a third party representative. To continue, you must submit the representative's name and contact address.

Typically, your representative should have signed the representative form and submitted it with your request. It is mandatory to submit this form even if you do not pay your representative. The use of representatives is optional.
How to choose an immigration representative

Here are the steps to follow to choose a representative for your request:

If you want to hire a paid representative, find out if your representative is authorized.
Complete a Use of a Representative form and make sure your representative signs it.
Make sure that your personal information filled in by your representative is free of errors and
Avoid representatives who indicate on the form that they are third party representatives and subsequently charge you a fee or request compensation.
If you have not yet applied, include the form in your application package and send it to the address listed in your application instruction guide.
