Lawyer JOB DESCRIPTION
Representing the client, defending him but also advising him in the context of a lawsuit, these are the missions of the lawyer. He can work for a tribunal or he can work for different entities, whether it is an individual or a company.
Profession: The functions of the lawyer are multiple. They can be of a defense or legal advice nature. With regard to defense, he intervenes in civil cases (accidents, divorces, inheritances, work-related disputes ...) or criminal (misdemeanors, thefts, crimes ...). Before the trial, the lawyer meets with his client several times to build his case and draft the documents necessary for the defense. This is essential for building a solid defense record that will lead him to victory. During the trial, he supports his client's cause with his interventions and a final argument. Legal advice is provided in particular to companies (multinationals, banks, insurance companies). Companies, without a legal department, frequently use independent lawyers to settle day-to-day legal, commercial or financial matters. Sometimes, even if they have in-house lawyers, they call on him to solve more delicate problems.

In most cases, the lawyer is a liberal professional. He is his own boss. However, its tasks differ according to the type of firm (size, specialization, etc.) and its place of practice. The lawyer spends almost all of his working time in his office in order to study the files entrusted to him, to receive clients, to respond to incessant requests for information, etc. The lawyers are gathered in a professional organization, the Bar Association. To be admitted to the Order, the candidate must prove his professional capacity and his good repute.

The latter includes written tests and oral presentations. Once this has been completed, you must complete a three-year internship in a law firm with at least five years of seniority. This is about learning the inner workings of advocacy. At the end of the internship, you must apply to the bar to become a lawyer.
REMUNERATION
A novice lawyer receives a monthly salary which varies between 10,000 and 15,000 dirhams. His salary changes depending on the reputation of the firm where he works.
