The profession of lawyer is a profession
liberal. It is therefore exercised in

Possible trainings
The profession of lawyer is not accessible
that once you have obtained the CAPA (Certificate
Aptitude for the Profession of Lawyer).
This diploma is prepared in one of the
CRFPA (Regional Centers for
Professional Training of Lawyers)
after passing an entrance exam.
This training is open to
holders of a master's degree 1 or more in
law. The entrance exam is preparing
in an Institute of Judicial Studies.

Salary
At the start of a lawyer
can earn 1800 to 2700 euros
per month.
Then towards the end of his career he wins
on average 5,000 euros per month.
Quality required
Rigorous, the lawyer is ready to work hard without counting his
hours: essential for success. He must also be very organized to
juggling from one file to another and to respect the procedures and
judicial calendar (dates of hearings).
Obliged to professional secrecy, the lawyer is the confidant of his clients
therefore he must be discreet.
A charismatic character, he is also distinguished by his talents as a speaker
and his power of persuasion, especially when pleading in court.
Balanced, responsive, the lawyer knows how to manage tensions, especially in
time of hearing. He must be able to adapt to any
situation and to question yourself every day.
Important school subject
French is a subject
essential to access the
profession of lawyer because you must have
excellent abilities
editorial and mastery of
texts of laws, regulations and
case law.
Possible career development
The lawyer can open his own
firm or become a collaborator or
employee of a firm. In this last
case, it does not have the status of
liberal professional and cannot
develop personal customers.
Advantages and disadvantages
Advantages:
What attracts me to this job is
the field of law, to fight
to defend, to help someone.
Disadvantages:
When you're a lawyer you have to
working hard.
Competition is more and more
rough.
Studies are long and
complex.
Interest in this profession
I decided to do my slideshow on the profession of lawyer because the sector
law interests me. But I don't know yet what job I would like
exercise later.
