Legal aid: the 2019 scale and the conditions
The ability to pay the procedural costs of a trial or legal action is not given to everyone. People with low incomes can therefore benefit from legal aid.
Who offers legal aid?
Indeed, it is the state that bears some or all of your procedural costs related to trials and legal action. Legal aid is a form of financial aid and it is mainly aimed at people without resources or with a modest income. The level of state support may vary depending on your income.
Scale 2019
The 2019 legal aid scale is as follows:
For people without dependents with a resource less than 1546 euros per month can benefit from this aid. However, not everyone will benefit from the same coverage rate. The state takes into account, wages, work pay, annuities, retirement pensions, rental income as well as alimony as resources. Family benefits, APL, RSA or even the activity bonus are not on the list.
The monthly resource limits are as follows:
Total aid for resources less than 1,031 euros.
55% support for resources between 1,032 and 1,219 euros.
25% support for resources between 1,220 and 1,546 euros.
No aid for resources greater than or equal to 1546 euros.
For supplements:
A dependent is worth 186 euros.
Two dependents are worth 371 euros.
For more than 2 people, the sum of + 117 euros per dependent will be added.
Formalities
To request this assistance, a downloadable online form: cerfa 12467 for requesting legal aid must be completed. For the justification of your resources, you must attach certain documents and documents. The legal aid office renders its decision without a specific deadline to the lawyer, on the other hand within one year, the litigant must initiate legal proceedings. In the event of a dispute, you have 15 days from the notification of the decision to communicate your refusal to the legal aid office.
Other clauses
